Transparent PET Sheet

Correct Storage of PET Film/Sheet
Choose the Right Location
Select a clean, dry, and well-ventilated storage area for your PET sheet rolls. Avoid areas prone to treme temperature fluctuations, direct sunlight, or high humidity, as these can affect the material’s properties.
Vertical Storage
Store the rolls vertically on sturdy racks or shelves. This helps prevent warping and deformation of the sheets over time. Make sure the rolls are standing on their cores (the inner cardboard or plastic tube).
Protect from UV Light
PET sheet rolls can degrade when exposed to prolonged sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Keep the rolls away from direct sunlight or install UV-blocking curtains or blinds in the storage area.
Control Temperature and Humidity
Maintain a stable temperature and humidity level in the storage area. Extreme temperatures can cause the plastic to warp or become brittle. Ideal storage conditions are typically between 50°F (10°C) and 77°F (25°C) with a humidity level of 50% or less.
Keep the Area Clean
Dust and debris can accumulate on the rolls, so regularly clean the storage area to prevent contamination. This will also help maintain the quality of the plastic sheets.
Use Protective Wrapping
If possible, cover the rolls with plastic or fabric sheeting to protect them from dust and dirt. Make sure the covering is breathable to prevent moisture buildup.
Avoid Pressure and Weight
Avoid stacking heavy objects on top of the rolls, as this can cause them to deform or crease. Ensure that the rolls are stored in a way that distributes weight evenly across their length.
